I'm about a week and few days away from my retightening. And honestly I am truly excited about that I hate when my locks aren't looking fresh, not that it looks bad I just love my hair a lot more when I tight. But anywho I can't believe at the end of this month I will be locked for nine months and let me tell you. Being a new mom to a beautiful baby boy there is a new and amazing challenge in your face everyday. And the last thing when one wants to worry about is their hair.
I have pictures of my hair and I've even made a video showing what products I use. But for some reason my phone won't connected to my computer and I have to get that problem address and quickly. Also a few weeks ago my phone that I just got had delete all the pictures I had on it so now I don't have any of my photos of my hair in the ealry stages but I told myself from here on out I will try to post something new like four times a month.
And before I go the Saturday before my retightening I'm going to color my locks for the first time since getting my them done. Wish me luck

Eight Month update
April 30th will be eight months since I got my sisterlocks installed. Some days I love having my babies (locks) and sometime I wonder why in the world did I get my locked. When I decided to get locks in my hair it wasn't somthing I did a lot of research on. My mom had sisterlocks which was the main reason I got my hair locked. Seeing how fast her hair has grown since getting her sisterlocks made me want to get mine done plus I was six months pregnant tried of wearing braids and kninky twist. And I didn't want any hair issue while in labor with my son.
But anywho my locks are eight months old and boy has my hair come along way. My hair is actually growing. The last time I went to my last retightening session my consultant told me that I didn't have to braid and band so few days later I did my ACV rinse cause I have really bad dry scalp and I also applied some T-Gel. For some reason when I first started using it I hated the smell but now it's grown on me. Plus I love the way it makes my locs feel super so. But my problem is that in between washing I wasn't spraying my hair enough or something cause my locks looked so dull and felt just crunchy. So I started adding Milk Protein and Olive OIl to some water in bottle. Going through and massaging my locks with some hair food. I'm loving the results I'm getting from these problems.
However, I have had some problem with my locks I used a Suave shampoo and it made some of my locks come out I only used this becuase I was out of the Sisterlock starter shampoo. So I have to go get some Sisterlock shampoo at my next retightening.

I've been gone to long
I've been away from my blog for a while but I've been a busy bee having a baby, getting used to being a new mom, and trying to find a job. And today the Lord did bless me with a new position at a assised living. and through all this my hair has not been one of my concerns thank goodness. The last time I post anything on my blog I was getting ready for my first retightening been there done that, with 460 locks it only takes my consultant 3 hrs to do my hair which had grown an inch in a half. I just recently had my hair retightened again and this time I went 8 weeks and it took her 3.5 hrs to do it. However I will never go that long again in between retightening because all that new growth was driving me crazy.

Retightening coming soon
I got my sisterlocks installed on August 30 & 31 it took about 22 hrs. I will be going to get my hair re tightened for the first time since my installment on Oct. 8. Looking at how much my hair has grown I think I should have made my appointment a little sooner. However my consultant and I didn't think my hair would have grown as much as it did since I got my locks installed I will be posting pictures of my hair before my re tightening and after so you can see the difference and exactly how much it is growing .
This is the top of my head you really can't see the parting pattern anymore cause my hair has grown that much I can't wait fot my first retightening
This would be the front of my head
This is the side and yes I did start this journey with permed ends
I have a lot of growth if you ask me
